It can be challenging to communicate with others. To tell someone how you feel without blaming them, to express yourself when it’s scary, to understand your expectations before you enter into a discussion – it can all feel overwhelming to handle all at once. As a result, we may silence ourselves, have an unrestricted outburst, avoid our imagined “conflict” at all costs, or retreat to assumptions that justify why the communication should not happen.
In our digital world where communication is becoming more scarce, we are becoming more out of touch with how to develop relationships where more authentic and connected levels of communication are the norm. We are less often feeling the magic of communicating fully, deeply, and honestly, with all parts of ourselves.
Join Jeff Cylkowski and Deanna Smith as they explore how we all can create more opportunities to experience the beauty of deeper communication and connection.
